  a local bookstore has sold out of a controversial marriage guide that advises muslim men on how to beat their wives.. .

  the 160-page book, published by idara impex in new delhi, india, is written by hazrat maulana ashraf ali thanvi, whos described in the books foreword as a prolific writer on almost every topic of islamic learning.. .

  the stores manager, who didnt give his name, said the book had been sold out for some time, and the stores owner, whom the manager identified as shamim ahmad, refused to comment for the story.. .

  Well done Simon. Your forum was of great help to me when it first opened. To be able to talk with others who had shared a similar experience was therapeutic. I have moved on, but it is still a great place to have fun and share ideas.

  Is the Watchtower shy about repeating their new "generation" teaching?

  as i recall in the 1980s talks and watchtower literature, magazines and books were always talking about the "generation" teaching and how it proved armageddon was going to come any day now.. but am i correct in thinking they have only actually mentioned the new "overlapping generations" teaching once or twice in the literature?

  why are they so shy about talking about their great new interpretation?

  it's almost enough to make you suspect they are a embarrassed about it.. mention it once or twice, don't dwell on it, hope everyone just accepts it, and don't bring it up again.

  Wow outsmartthesystem! That’s an impressive piece of typing: how many hands have you got?

  I was going to wait before posting this delightful riddle for all you seekers of truth. With Armageddon so close, I decided that it would ‘behove’ me to post it now in case I meet my demise before I can post. While being mindful of the clear and unambiguous explanations from djeggnog:

  How many groups of varying ages, that overlap but are not allowed to be called generations, although they include younger anointed contemporaries and older anointed ones who discerned the sign, does it take to constitute one generation that will not die off before the great tribulation starts?

  Answers on an old Watchtower please.
